The volleyball program focuses on developing the basic skills of passing, setting, spiking, blocking, digging, and serving. The volleyball athletes learn to overcome adversity, work as a team, and show a positive attitude.

Mr. Eliazar Posadas, is the coach of the Discovery School volleyball team. He has been coaching teams for over ten years,

in which he has acquired vast experience in the field.

 

The volleyball team participates in these competitions throughout the year:

-Regional tournaments in Tegucigalpa 

-ABSH Volleyball (Nationwide competition with other bilingual schools of Honduras) 

-AASCA Volleyball (Competition with other American Schools of Central America)

Volleyball practices are in After School Activities schedule from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm. Some trainings are during the early morning from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.
