It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Discovery School. As the Head of School, I am proud to be part of a community dedicated to fostering the growth of resilient and empathetic global citizens.

Established in 1993, our school was founded by international families who wanted to provide a world-class educational environment for scholars in Honduras.  Our philosophy is that learning is a process of discovery.  Situated on a secure campus in Zona Molinón, we offer robust academic and extracurricular programs in a nurturing, student-centered environment. We serve the local, diplomatic, and multinational business communities. Looking within and beyond Honduras, we benchmark our programs, faculty, facilities, and results against the finest international schools in the region.

At Discovery School, we understand that each student’s journey is unique. Our model of individualized care ensures that every student receives the attention and support they need to thrive. With an average class size of 15 and a 7:1 student-teacher ratio, we provide personalized attention that fosters both academic and personal growth.

Our commitment to excellence is also reflected in our robust extracurricular program, which includes 27 after-school activities designed to enrich our students’ learning experiences. We take pride in our 98% university acceptance rate and offer 7 Advanced Placement classes to challenge and prepare our students for future success.
