Seven years ago Discovery School embarked in a project that consisted in bringing teachers together to share their experiences, successes, knowledge and expertise. It started with around 100 teachers, and it was held at the school campus when it was located in Colonia Lara.

Due to the tremendous thirst for knowledge and improvement that characterizes teachers; the workshop has grown tremendously over the years. It is now held at one of the most prestigious hotels in the city, THE MARRIOTT HOTEL, and it provides a great opportunity for staff development and growth for more than 450 teachers from all over the country.

Our workshop is designed to have 8 one-hour long sessions. During each session, 12 simultaneous presentations are offered to fulfil different needs and interest in various grade levels and subject areas.  Our guest speakers range from consultants from Publishing Companies, Specialists in Different Fields, University Professors, but most importantly Teachers that are in the classroom every day.
